About The Position

Silver Cross Hospital is hiring an OB Technician for the Mother Baby PP GYN department. The role performs surgical scrub duties and assists with preparation and cleaning for surgical procedures. The technician provides hands-on patient care under the direction of an RN. This is a night-shift position scheduled from 1830 to 0700, with work every third weekend and an assigned group of holidays. The employee may float to Mother Baby as a CNA.

Requirements

• Currently certified by the State of Illinois as a CNA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to care for patients with compassion.
• Ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous CNA experience in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.
• Previous OB Technician experience is a plus.
