About The Position

The OB Scrub Technician assists the RN in providing quality patient care during the assigned shift. The role performs surgical scrubs for obstetrical deliveries and emergencies, maintains supplies in the LDRs and surgical suites, and performs other identified patient-care duties within the scope of the job description. The technician also performs clerical duties and may be assigned additional duties within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and basic safety principles of physical care and comfort.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Surgical Technician preferred.
