OB Hospitalist
About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an OB Hospitalist in Mason City, IA. The role involves overseeing the Labor & Delivery unit, triaging patients, and performing vaginal or Cesarean deliveries. Responsibilities include managing high and low-risk OB evaluations, emergencies, and urgent GYN consultations/surgeries. The hospitalist will also provide education and mentoring to residents and staff, and assist OBGYN peers in complex surgical cases when needed. The position requires 4 shifts per month, with 24-96 hour shift scheduling, and is an in-house call position. The facility handles approximately 500-600 annual deliveries.

- Clean record
- Availability to cover some of listed dates
Responsibilities
