OB/GYN Sonographer
About The Position
Rockhill Women's Care is seeking a full-time, ARDMS-certified OB/GYN Sonographer for its collaborative ultrasound team at the Overland Park office. The practice has 12 providers serving patients throughout the Kansas City metro area; this position is based exclusively at the Overland Park office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no nights, weekends, call, or holidays. The role offers a maximum of 14 scheduled patients per day, and add-on patients are accepted at the sonographer's discretion. A bonus incentive program is available for scans performed beyond the routine daily schedule. Pay is $39.00–$43.00 per hour, depending on experience. Pre-employment drug screening is required.
Requirements
- ARDMS registration with OB/GYN certification.
- At least 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with providers and clinical staff.
- Pre-employment drug screening is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations, including fetal anatomy surveys, biophysical profiles (BPP), transvaginal ultrasounds, and routine obstetric and gynecologic imaging.
- Provide patient care and collaborate with providers and clinical staff.
