About The Position

Oneida Health is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified OB/GYN Physician to join its growing women’s health program in Central New York. This employed opportunity offers a role in a community-focused healthcare system working to expand access to high-quality obstetrical and gynecological care throughout the region. Oneida is located between Syracuse and Utica. The practice provides a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, including prenatal and postpartum care, labor and delivery services, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, and preventive and wellness care. The physician will join an established patient base and referral network, collaborating with experienced nursing staff, advanced practice providers, pediatric services, and specialty support. The role offers an opportunity to help expand women’s health services throughout Central New York. Facilities include modern labor and delivery suites and surgical facilities, advanced diagnostic imaging, ancillary services, and specialty consultation support. Administration supports physician autonomy and practice growth.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient and outpatient obstetrical and gynecological care.
Provide prenatal and postpartum care.
Provide labor and delivery services.
Perform minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.
Provide preventive and wellness care.
Help expand women’s health services throughout Central New York.
Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, pediatric services, and specialty teams.
