About The Position

Bryn Mawr Women's Health, an Axia Women’s Health care center affiliated with Main Line Health, has been serving women in the community for 35 years. We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) Associate Physician. 2027 Resident Physicians are welcome and encouraged to apply. Our Practice consists of 8 Providers (6 Physicians & 2 Nurse Practitioners) across three locations: Rosemont, Newtown Square, and King of Prussia. Each location is within 20 minutes of the hospital. The group averages approximately 50 deliveries per month, with an on-call rotation of 1:11 shared with two other Axia practices, and includes a post-call day off. The practice has a 50:50 Ob to Gyn split. Providers perform ultrasounds on site, and in-office procedures include Hysteroscopies, Colposcopies, Ablations, LEEPS, IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals. Mammography and onsite Phlebotomists are available. Each provider is assigned 1.5 CMAs, and Triage RN staff handle triage calls and results. The hospital affiliation is Bryn Mawr Hospital, Main Line Health, which features a Level III NICU staffed by CHOP neonatologists, 24/7 in-house Anesthesiologists, and a 24/7 hospitalist service beginning Spring 2024. The hospital also has Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, including prenatal genetic counseling services, and Fertility Specialists for high-risk mothers. The nursing staff is highly qualified and skilled, with the system holding a Magnet® Nursing Designation. The Labor and Delivery Unit was newly opened in 2019, featuring two C-Section operating rooms and a new maternity unit with 25 large, private rooms, offering lactation and breastfeeding support for new mothers. Da Vinci Robotics are also available.

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients.
  • Perform on-site ultrasounds.

  • Participate in a 1:11 on-call rotation.
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, CMAs, and Triage RN staff.
