OB/GYN - Physician Assistant
About The Position
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Physician Assistant to join an expanding division serving OB/GYN patients in their growing network. This is a hospital-employed, evidence-based practice within the Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. The role involves a combination of outpatient GYN and Surgical 1st assist in OBGYN OR, with a 36-hour work week and 4 hours of administrative time per week. The practice offers a collegial working environment with a group employed model. While Women's Health and/or surgical experience is preferred, it is not necessary.
Requirements
- National Certification as a Physician Assistant
- New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
