About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an OB/GYN Generalist to join their team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The mission of NYC Health + Hospitals is to provide comprehensive health services of the highest quality to all New Yorkers, regardless of their ability to pay, in an atmosphere of humane care, dignity, and respect. This role involves providing comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Gynecologic Inpatient Services, Ambulatory OB/GYN, and Gynecologic Surgery. The position offers flexible scheduling with a combination of 8-hour shifts for outpatient care and 12-hour shifts for inpatient coverage. Approximately 90% of the responsibilities are clinical, with 10% protected administrative time for chart review, teaching, and educational activities. The role includes one 24-hour weekend call per month, supervision and teaching of OB/GYN Residents, and collaboration with an experienced Nurse Midwifery team. There are opportunities to develop expertise in Complex Family Planning, participate in clinical research, and lead quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Board Eligibility or Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active or eligible for a New York State Medical License

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Gynecologic Inpatient Services, Ambulatory OB/GYN, and Gynecologic Surgery.
Supervise and teach OB/GYN Residents in a collaborative academic environment.
Work alongside an experienced and highly collaborative Nurse Midwifery team.
Develop expertise in Complex Family Planning.
Participate in clinical research.
Lead quality improvement initiatives.
