About The Position

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) seeks a full-time BC/BE Academic Specialist in General Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Division of General OB/GYN has a strong urban, community-based clinical program within the context of a nationally recognized academic medical center. The successful candidate will provide outstanding patient care in both on- and off-campus locations, participate in resident and medical student education, contribute to clinical and academic initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to advance women's healthcare. Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher; however, final academic rank and tenure status will be commensurate with the selected candidate's experience.

Requirements

Board-eligible/board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, with the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the state of Maryland.
