About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an OB Anesthesiologist to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. This role is part of a redesigned healthcare campus featuring a new hospital with emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The hospital also includes a Health & Wellness Institute for outpatient services. The position involves practicing an expanded Anesthesia Care model, taking a leadership role in navigating perioperative processes in collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff. The department is equipped with modern anesthesia equipment. The role also includes providing OB Anesthesia to an under-served patient population and participating in continuing education programs.

Requirements

Active or eligible for a NYS License
Board eligible or certified in Anesthesiology
Must complete an OB Fellowship or hold 2 years of OB Anesthesia experience

Responsibilities

Provide OB Anesthesia to under-served patient population.
Participate in ongoing continuing education programs to maintain and upgrade skills.
Practice an expanded Anesthesia Care model.
Take a leadership role in navigating perioperative process, in close friendly collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff.

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $421,000 (board eligible) ; $431,000 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
Sign-On Bonus of $20,000!
Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
401(k) Company Contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
