About The Position

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a per diem O&P Technician I in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

• Certification and licensure with orthotics and prosthetics preferred
• Orthotic and/or prosthetic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• The Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician I fabricates orthotic and/or prosthetic devices with minimum supervision of the Director.
• He/she will maintain laboratory equipment and participate in inventory control.
• The Technician I will also repair and adjust orthotic and/or prosthetic devices as needed.
