About The Position

This position is for individuals who have already gone through the Summer Intern Experience (SIE) candidate process and have been affirmed. Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith, which outlines their Christian purposes of evangelism and discipleship. Employees and volunteers must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, subscribe to Young Life's statements and policies, fulfill ministry functions, refrain from conduct that detracts from biblical standards, and abide by all Young Life policies and practices.

Requirements

• Must have gone through the Summer Intern Experience (SIE) candidate process and been affirmed
• Must sign a Statement of Faith
• Must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
• Must subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff
• Must be ready, willing and able to fulfill ministry functions as may be required by the organization
• Must refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life
• Must abide by all policies and practices of Young Life

Responsibilities

• Attend all trainings
• Participate in all summer internship cohort meetings
• Meet with your mentor weekly
• Provide evaluative feedback of the program to your cohort lead
• Serve on a local volunteer leader team with students
