About The Position

This position is for individuals who have already gone through the Summer Intern Experience (SIE) candidate process and have been affirmed. Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith and adhere to its principles of evangelism and discipleship. Employees and volunteers are expected to minister as servants of God, proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, fulfill ministry functions, refrain from conduct that detracts from biblical standards, and abide by all Young Life policies. The core purpose of the Young Life mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and introduce adolescents everywhere to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.

Requirements

• Must have gone through the Summer Intern Experience (SIE) candidate process and been affirmed
• Must sign a Statement of Faith
• Must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
• Must subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff
• Must be ready, willing and able to fulfill ministry functions as may be required by the organization
• Must refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life
• Must abide by all policies and practices of Young Life including, without limitation, those related to religious belief or ministry activities

Responsibilities

• Attend all trainings
• Participate in all summer internship cohort meetings
• Meet with your mentor weekly
• Provide evaluative feedback of the program to your cohort lead
• Serve on a local volunteer leader team with students
