About The Position
Finger Lakes Health is seeking motivated career starters for a healthcare food-services role. Responsibilities
- Follow production and supply sheets to prepare appropriate quantities of menu items for meals.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality products and preventing food waste.
- Follow portion-control guidelines to ensure quality service.
- Prepare neat, clean, and appealing tray presentations.
- Accurately follow diet orders and tray notes on tray tickets.
- Use safe and sanitary food-handling and serving methods, including compliance with H.A.C.C.P. standards, to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Review and complete assigned tasks and documentation, including worksheets and logs such as dish machine, sanitizer, and special cleaning logs.
- Maintain the assigned area in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
