About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Nutrition Support Dietitian in CORPUS CHRISTI, TX! Relocation Assistance Available! This is an acute care position in an Acute Care Level II Trauma Center, Level I Stroke Center. The schedule is full time, Monday - Friday, with weekend rotation (Saturday onsite, Sunday on-call) and hybrid opportunity for remote charting. This role requires a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; nutrition support experience is preferred. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Specialty certification when required
  • Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Nutrition support experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
