About The Position

The Nutrition Site Server Substitute is responsible for the preparation and serving of meals at assigned child development centers. This role involves cleaning and washing equipment used in meal preparation and serving, maintaining a clean work area, and fostering positive relationships with coworkers, children, and parents. The position requires compassion and understanding for children and families from diverse backgrounds, and involves assisting in the care, supervision, and safety of center children. The substitute server must adhere to all TVCCA, program, and state food handling regulations, policies, and procedures. Travel to childcare centers for coverage on an as-needed basis is required.

• Have compassion and understanding for the needs of children and families from all backgrounds.
