About The Position

The Nutrition Shift Coordinator oversees Retail Food Service staff during their shift, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the retail food service areas run efficiently, safely, and reliably. This role involves providing job and service training for new and existing employees, interacting with customers to provide optimal service, and completing essential logs such as temperature and cleaning records. The position also requires performing area opening and closing procedures, verifying cash drawer reconciliation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role utilizes a computerized Point-of-Sale system and involves working as a Food Service Worker Retail in addition to shift coordinator duties. The work environment includes exposure to hot food preparation and holding equipment, walk-in refrigerators/freezers, requires walking between retail units, and the use of food-grade cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
