About The Position

MercyOne is hiring a full-time Nutrition Services Worker. The role involves preparing patient trays; serving patients and visitors in a café or assigned dining area; washing dishes, including pots and pans; cleaning assigned work areas; putting away stock; and setting up service and special functions. The worker may also operate a cash register according to proper cash procedures and perform meal-transport duties. The position is 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week), with varied shifts based on departmental needs and a required weekend and holiday rotation. High school education or equivalent is preferred. Requirements

Be able to read and understand labels, production orders, and storeroom set-up.
Have the ability to learn special diets.
Have a valid driver’s license if required to transport meals to other sites.
Be comfortable working in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.
