About The Position

Prepares and cooks quality food for the nutritional needs of patients, staff, and visitors. Determines food quantities, prepares grocery lists, fills supply needs, organizes daily and weekly preparation, and considers cost and work efficiency while adhering to Department of Health and department policies. Calculates daily production needs and orders appropriately to support patient meal service, cafeteria meals, catering events, and other meals. Follows standardized recipes and assists in their development.
