About The Position

Hudson Hospital is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Nutrition Aide to provide exceptional food service support to patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you will help ensure patients receive meals that meet their dietary needs while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of healthcare, food service, cafeteria, coffee shop or kitchen experience

Responsibilities

• Preparing and assembling cold food items for patient meals in accordance with prescribed dietary requirements.
• Delivering patient meals accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Assisting patients with menu selections that met physician-ordered diets and established nutrition guidelines.
• Receiving, storing, and organizing food products and supplies following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Completing assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe and compliant food service environment.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs for patient meals, catered events, guest meals, complimentary meals, and café transactions.
• Supporting daily food service operations while ensuring compliance with healthcare, safety, and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
