About The Position
Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Service Aide at are Fairview Riverside University Hospital in Minneapolis,MN. This position is responsible for preparing, portioning, and serving food while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
- Basic math skills.

Responsibilities
- Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
- Plates and serves food.
- Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
- Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
- Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
- Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
