RN - Nursing Supervisor, Skilled Nursing
About The Position
Elderwood is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Supervisor (RN) to help lead clinical operations and support our nursing teams within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This is an important leadership role responsible for overseeing nursing care delivery during the assigned shift, supporting nursing staff across units, responding to clinical and operational needs, and helping ensure exceptional resident care and service excellence. Requirements
- Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- At least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Interest or experience in geriatrics
- Current BLS/CPR
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level

Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing care services and nursing personnel across assigned units
- Conduct rounds and provide clinical support and guidance to staff
- Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely communication of changes
- Assist with admissions, evaluations, care planning, and resident oversight
- Support safe medication administration and treatment delivery
- Assist with staffing coordination and assignment adjustments
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to nursing staff
- Ensure documentation, workflows, and assignments are completed appropriately
- Participate in shift-to-shift communication and operational updates
- Promote a collaborative, respectful, team-focused environment
- Help maintain compliance with facility policies, CMS standards, and nursing regulations
- Support infection prevention and facility safety initiatives
- Assist with incident response, emergency procedures, and survey readiness
- Participate in QAPI and performance improvement efforts
