The Sharon at SouthPark is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to join their leadership team on second shift. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current North Carolina RN license, or compact state license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing services during the assigned shift.
  • Lead and support nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care.
  • Supervise daily nursing operations within Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living.
  • Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in clinical status within scope of practice.
  • Participate in admissions, transfers, discharges, and care planning activities within scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacies, laboratories, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Review physician orders, laboratory testing, clinical documentation, and treatments for accuracy and timely follow-up.
  • Support quality assurance, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop nursing team members.
  • Conduct resident rounds and address concerns proactively.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for residents, families, and staff within scope of licensure.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and within the scope of the individual's professional licensure.
