This is a full-time, hybrid role designed to support ambulatory clinics in the Floyd Area (Rome, GA) and Navient Area (Macon, GA), with some remote work components. The specialist will apply advanced knowledge of nursing and evidence-based education interventions to bridge knowledge, skills, and practice gaps. This involves needs assessment, data collection, analysis of costs and return on investment, transforming processes, and developing context-specific outcomes. The role requires incorporating learning theories, promoting knowledge generation, and role-modeling positive learning environments. The specialist will assess learner characteristics, create effective learning environments using technology, and evaluate educational outcomes. They will implement diverse teaching strategies, plan culturally relevant programs, and advise on educational materials and strategies. The role also involves developing partnerships for healthcare enhancement through interprofessional initiatives and supporting the transition of nurses and healthcare team members. Mentoring of NEPD generalists is also a component of this role.
