Nursing Medication Aide - Day and Night Shift Available
About The Position
The Addison of Gulf Breeze, a premier retirement community in Panama City Beach, FL, provides quality care to residents in an assisted living and memory care community. We are looking for resident-focused Medication Aides to cover either the 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am shifts. We offer cutting-edge technology to enhance resident lives and make jobs easier, including SafelyYou AI video technology for fall detection, Advanced EHR Technologies for automated care assessments, Sage for improved call light response, and Microsoft Power BI for data needs. Requirements
- Must be licensed in Florida as a Medication Aide.
- Must maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration.
- May supervise CNAs as directed.
- Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
- Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information.
