About The Position

The Nursing Manager for the RTF at Springbrook Behavioral Health System plays a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality psychiatric nursing care to our RTF patients. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in psychiatric nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • strong leadership and communication abilities, which are essential for guiding nursing staff and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are utilized daily to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Time management and organizational skills are necessary for overseeing unit operations and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance and delivering high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
  • Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMH-BC).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support nursing staff in the RTF Unit, ensuring adherence to care protocols and standards.
