About The Position

The Nursing Manager for the RTF at Springbrook Behavioral Health System plays a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality psychiatric nursing care to our RTF patients. This position is responsible for ensuring that all nursing staff adhere to best practices and regulatory standards while providing compassionate and effective care. Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in psychiatric nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• strong leadership and communication abilities, which are essential for guiding nursing staff and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are utilized daily to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Time management and organizational skills are necessary for overseeing unit operations and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
• knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance and delivering high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
• Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMH-BC).
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Supervise and support nursing staff in the RTF Unit, ensuring adherence to care protocols and standards.
