About The Position

Summit Point, a Sonida Senior Living community in Macedonia, Ohio, provides care to residents in an Independent Living and Assisted Living community. The Nursing LPN directs day-to-day nursing assistant functions, administers medications, reports on shift activities, and helps ensure residents’ nursing needs are met. The role also includes ordering prescriptions and performing general office duties. The community offers flexible scheduling, technology to support resident care, educational and learning opportunities, referral programs, paid training, and a benefits package. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN and maintain current, unencumbered licensure.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the Assisted Living Facility.
Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
Make written and oral reports or recommendations concerning shift activities as required.
Ensure adequate medications, supplies, and equipment are available to meet residents’ nursing needs, and report needs to the nursing supervisor.
Call pharmacies to order prescriptions.
Pull and prepare patient charts and perform other general office duties as required.
