About The Position

This role involves completing assigned nursing orders under the direction of a preceptor, including assisting patients with daily living activities and taking vital signs. The intern will observe patient status and responses, documenting and reporting these observations to the preceptor or other appropriate staff. They will also assist the preceptor in developing care plans by reporting test results and patient observations. Additional duties may include environmental services and preparing/transporting patients for diagnostic services.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities
