About The Position

The Nursing Instructor delivers education services to students and fulfills faculty duties in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. This is a full-time, onsite position based at the Fort Myers campus with a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current unrestricted State of Florida RN or APRN license.
• At least 2 years of full-time nursing practice.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience.
• Experience with learning outcomes assessments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course plans and materials.
• Deliver courses.
• Monitor student progress and attendance.
• Advise students.
• Record grades and submit reports.
• Provide instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical sites.
• Meet credentialing requirements compliant with state licensing agencies and regulatory boards.
• Participate in program, institution, and community activities.
