About The Position

The Nursing Instructor delivers education services to students by preparing course plans and materials, teaching courses, monitoring student progress and attendance, advising students, recording grades, and submitting reports. Faculty duties include instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. The instructor must meet credentialing requirements established by state licensing agencies and regulatory boards and participate in program, institution, and community activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing.
• Current unrestricted State of Florida RN or APRN license.
• At least 2 years of full-time nursing practice.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience.
• Experience with learning outcomes assessments.
