About The Position

The Nursing Instructor delivers education services to students through course preparation and delivery, student progress and attendance monitoring, advising, and maintaining academic records. The role includes instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings; meeting credentialing requirements established by state licensing agencies and regulatory boards; and participating in program, institutional, and community activities. This is a full-time, onsite position based at the Fort Myers campus, with a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum of a master's degree in nursing.
• Current unrestricted State of Florida RN or APRN license.
• Minimum of two years of full-time nursing practice.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate degree in nursing.
• Minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience.
• Experience with learning outcomes assessments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course plans and materials.
• Deliver courses.
• Monitor student progress and attendance.
