About The Position
A skilled nursing facility in Port Charlotte, Florida, is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead all aspects of facility operations. The role provides ownership and autonomy over clinical, financial, admissions, and facility management, with a focus on census growth, regulatory compliance, financial performance, team leadership, and resident and family satisfaction. The position is full-time and permanent, with an annual salary of $160,000–$190,000 based on experience.
Requirements
- Active Florida Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Administrator in Florida.
- Working knowledge of CMS regulations, the state survey process, and Florida AHCA requirements.
- Track record of managing census, staffing, and budgets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead facility operations, including clinical, financial, admissions, and facility management.
- Drive census growth and strengthen referral relationships with hospitals and community partners.
- Keep the building survey-ready and compliant with federal and Florida regulations.
- Manage budgets, labor costs, and overall financial performance.
- Build and lead an engaged department head team.
