About The Position

Cascades Healthcare is seeking an Interim Nursing Home Administrator for Lincoln County Care Center in Shoshone, Idaho. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring it stays on track with its long-term goals and mission. The administrator will be responsible for creating a positive work environment for employees and a high quality of life for residents. This includes coordinating and leading clinical, managerial, and custodial teams, hiring and firing staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The position also requires coordinating with clinical staff on resident care plans, providing safety and compliance training, managing the budget for profitability, and serving as a liaison between the organization, governing board, public, staff, residents, and families.

Requirements

  • Current Idaho NHA license in good standing. No exceptions
  • Minimum one-year successful SNF Administrator experience
  • Very detail-oriented, especially with financial matters
  • Sincere concern for both employees and residents
  • Bachelor's Degree (Healthcare Administration highly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility and keep the organization on track for its long-term goals and mission
  • Create and maintain a wonderful place for our employees to work, and for our residents to live
  • Coordinate and provide leadership to each clinical, managerial, and custodial team; ensure they work together effectively
  • Hire (and fire) staff and employees at every level
  • Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure residents' individual care plans are being followed
  • Provide regular safety and compliance training
  • Create and maintain a budget to ensure sustainable profitability
  • Act as the 'face' of the organization to the governing board, the public, and residents' families; and as a liaison between staff, residents, and families
