About The Position

ECPI University is seeking an experienced nursing professional to teach Obstetrics (OB) at its San Antonio, Texas campus. The faculty member will help prepare future nurses by sharing practical industry experience in a nurturing, student-centered learning environment. Courses are taught in five-week intervals in small classes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an institutionally accredited school (such as ACEN- or CCNE-accredited).
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the state where the program is licensed.
• Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Previous nursing experience in Obstetrics (OB).
• Strong academic and professional record.
• Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.
• Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment.
• Highest levels of integrity.
• Orientation toward results.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Prior undergraduate teaching experience.
