About The Position
ECPI University is seeking an experienced nursing professional specializing in Obstetrics (OB) to teach at its San Antonio, Texas campus. The role helps prepare future nurses through practical, career-focused education and instruction in a student-centered learning environment. Faculty teach in five-week intervals in small classes and share their industry experience with students in a nurturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an institutionally accredited school, such as ACEN- or CCNE-accredited.
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the state in which the program is licensed.
- At least two years of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Previous nursing experience in Obstetrics (OB).
- Strong academic and professional record.
- Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.
- Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment.
- Highest levels of integrity.
- Results orientation.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience preferred.
