About The Position

West Liberty University is seeking applications for an Instructor Nursing. The nationally accredited Nursing Program is a traditional four-year baccalaureate program which includes tracks for registered nurses pursuing a bachelor’s degree and an accelerated program for those with a four-year college degree. This position is for a 9-month, full-time. Instructor position with teaching responsibilities related to classroom and clinical instruction, all specialties will be considered.

Requirements

• recent clinical experience in the specialty area
• an MSN degree with academic preparation in the specialty area
• an unencumbered license as a registered professional nurse in the State of WV or eligibility for this license
• excellent skills in anticipating and implementing curricular change
• the ability to work collaboratively in teams
• Successfully passing a background screening report is required for final employment.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

• a doctoral degree in nursing or progress toward a doctorate in nursing
