About The Position
ECPI University is seeking experienced nursing professionals to teach in its Associate Degree Nursing program at the Manassas, Virginia campus. Faculty teach in five-week intervals in small classes and share their industry experience in a nurturing, student-centered environment. The university is seeking nurses with experience in Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg), Obstetrics (OB), or Pediatrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an institutionally accredited school, such as ACEN- or CCNE-accredited.
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the state where the program is licensed.
- At least two years of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Previous nursing experience in Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg), or Obstetrics (OB).
- Strong academic and professional record.
- Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.
- Experience in a student-centric, hands-on learning environment.
- Highest levels of integrity.
- Results-oriented approach.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience preferred.
