About The Position
ECPI University is seeking experienced nursing professionals to teach in its Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program at the Manassas, Virginia campus. The role supports the university’s career-focused education mission by sharing clinical experience with future nurses in a nurturing, student-centered environment. Faculty teach in five-week intervals in small classes. The university is seeking experience in Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical, Obstetrics, or Pediatrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an institutionally accredited school (such as ACEN or CCNE).
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the state in which the program is licensed.
- At least two years of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Previous nursing experience in Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Medical/Surgical, or Obstetrics.
- Strong academic and professional record.
- Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction.
- Experience in a student-centric, hands-on learning environment.
- Highest levels of integrity.
- Results orientation.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Prior undergraduate teaching experience.
