Nursing Education Specialist
About The Position
This Nursing Education Specialist (NES) position will support the General Medical Units at the St. Marys Campus, along with supporting the Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Division. The NES works collaboratively to assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities through a systems model for Department of Nursing staff including orientation, continuing education, and competency programs. Roles of the NES include learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for Nursing Professional Development specialty and partner for practice transitions. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
Requirements
- State licensure
- Completion of VisaScreen or equivalent certification (for TN sponsorship)
