About The Position

The Nursing Education Specialist (NES) collaborates to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities for Department of Nursing staff. These activities include orientation, continuing education, and competency programs, all delivered through a systems model. The NES fulfills various roles such as a learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for the Nursing Professional Development specialty, and a partner for practice transitions. This position is eligible for TN sponsorship, which, if pursued successfully, will necessitate state licensure and the completion of a VisaScreen or an equivalent certification.

Requirements
