About The Position

This role provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), who is responsible for nursing and other designated patient care functions and services across the hospital organization. The Nursing Director assists with assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units. The role has 24/7 responsibility for its assigned areas and supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, clinical staff competency, and effective resource management related to patient care.

Requirements

• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence or practice.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing.
• At least 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager, full-time charge nurse, or in a related position.
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice, or policy.
• AHA BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science in nursing.
