About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides resident care at The Jasper of Mansfield, a Sonida Senior Living community offering Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role includes supporting residents with personal care, meals, medication reminders, and transfers, while observing and reporting changes in residents’ behavior or condition. The community uses technology such as AI fall-detection video, electronic health records, call-light response tools, and Microsoft Power BI to support resident care and team workflows.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
• Support residents’ nutritional needs by setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
• Remind residents to take medication and open medication containers and packages for them.
• Recognize changes in residents’ behavior and conditions and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
