About The Position
Waterstone of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community in Grayson, Georgia, provides care in independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs resident-care duties in accordance with accepted standards, assists residents with personal care and nutritional needs, reminds residents to take medication, and reports changes in residents’ behavior or condition to the Assisted Living Director.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Assist residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for residents.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior and conditions and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
- Perform duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
