About The Position
The Renley at Woodholme Gardens, a Sonida Senior Living community in Pikesville, Maryland, provides assisted living and memory care. The Certified Nursing Assistant supports residents by providing care in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. The role assists with personal care, transfers and escorts, nutritional needs, medication reminders, and observing and reporting changes in residents’ behavior or condition.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care in accordance with accepted standards.
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Support residents’ nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, ensuring proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior and conditions and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
