About The Position

The Nursing Assistant works under the direction of the RN and provides direct patient care while maintaining patient care standards. The role requires working with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, organizing and setting priorities, managing multiple tasks, and adapting to a rapidly changing environment. This is a full-time, first-shift position in Pre Admissions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification must be maintained.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude toward healthcare members and diverse patient populations.
• Diplomacy and time management skills.
• Efficiency and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Basic keyboard skills or ability to use a personal computer.

Nice To Haves

• Previous patient care experience is preferred.
