About The Position
The Nursing Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies and procedures, under the direction of supervisors. The role includes providing compassionate routine daily nursing care and service, helping residents with personal care, and assisting with meals. The position includes scheduled training and educational classes to obtain Nursing Assistant certification. Requirements
- Must possess at least a 10th-grade education; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication competencies.
- Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
- Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
- Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath, and other care functions as necessary.
- Prepare residents for meals and serve food; record intake of food and fluids.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
