About The Position
Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, California, is hiring a full-time Nursing Assistant for its Medical Surgical unit. This role works 12-hour night shifts. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant provides routine direct patient care according to unit policies and procedures, reports pertinent information to the Registered Nurse, and responds to patient care needs. Requirements
- Upon hire, hold National Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Have six months of experience in acute care or psych, or have completed the first semester of a Registered Nurse academic program, or have equivalent Nurse Assistant education.
