About The Position

Seeking Nursing Assistants for our Emergency Department. This position will involve both Nursing Assistant and Unit Secretary duties. The role requires providing direct patient care, assisting with personal hygiene, nutrition, comfort, and safe patient transfers. It also includes taking vital signs, recordkeeping, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Unit Secretary duties include answering phones, clerical tasks, computer work, maintaining log records, disseminating information, and working with providers while adhering to HIPAA regulations. The position operates within the scope of the Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
• Certified Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health preferred
• If not certified as a Nursing Assistant, must be registered as a Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within 3 months from date of employment
