About The Position

Seeking Nursing Assistants for our Emergency Department. This position will involve both Nursing Assistant and Unit Secretary duties. The role is responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting patients in a manner that ensures their safety and comfort, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or other designated healthcare professionals. Duties include personal hygiene, nutritional assistance, comfort care, patient transfers, taking vital signs, recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The position also includes Unit Secretary duties such as answering phones, clerical tasks, computer work, record keeping, information dissemination, and communication with providers, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
• Certified Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health preferred.
• If not certified as a Nursing Assistant, must be registered as a Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within 3 months from date of employment.
