Nursing Assistant - ER
About The Position
The Nursing Assistant assists nursing service personnel with patient care activities and related services that support patients’ personal needs and comfort. Duties include assisting with personal hygiene, taking vital signs, changing bed linens, serving and collecting food trays, providing between-meal nourishment, and cleaning, sterilizing, storing, and preparing supplies. The role uses commonly applied concepts, practices, and procedures in the field and works under immediate supervision, following instructions and established guidelines. It typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- AHA BLS certification.

- Six months of hospital experience.
